My ex-husband is kinda awesome (pregnancy mentioned)

We keep in touch over text/email so I told him about our m/c. It was pretty sad because his new wife is pregnant with their second and was about 3-4 weeks ahead of me. Every week he would send what fruit she is that week and I would send my fruit.

Anyway, he and his wife sent us a card to say sorry. I don't know how they knew to do this, but they got a card that said 'sorry for the loss of your son'. We've got generic 'get well' cards and generic 'sorry for your loss' cards and I thought it was really sweet that they got that card for us. It helps when someone actually recognizes - we had a son and he passed away. He was a person!

Just had to share. It made my day yesterday. Even DH (who understandably doesn't like the ex) had to admit that it was a nice gesture.

    That was a nice gesture! No matter the past, I feel like these situations warrant sincere thoughfulness. This website www.lostforwordscardline.com is good for specific cards.
