I was put on bed rest a couple weeks ago due to high bp. I have also been having non-stress tests 2 times per week. Yesterday during one of my nst's my bp was very high. They were unable to get it down, so they sent me to the hospital for monitoring. At which time they decided to keep me.

My bp will not stabilize, and they aren't sure why. All of my labs are great, which makes it even more confusing. I've had chronic kidney stones for a few years so I'm going to have an ultrasound of my kidney's in a little while to see if that's what is causing the issue, although my ob doesn't seem to think that anything will come back with that either, since my kidney's are functioning properly, according to the 24 urine collection they started when I got here yesterday. 

They discussed a possible induction as early as tomorrow. I'm very nervous, but I am confident that they are doing everything they can for me and my baby. (The baby does not seem effected at all by any of the bp issues)

    I'm sorry to hear you are going through all this. Good that the baby is well and if you are induced you should be well into the "safe zone". Best of luck. Keep us posted!

    Glad that the baby is still doing well, hope they can get your BP down a bit or at least figure out what's causing it to stay up!

    Good luck with the induction tomorrow, if that is the route they choose.

    That is scary. I'm glad they decided to have you stay for monitoring. If they do have to induce, I'm sure it will be what is best for you and baby. GL to you and your lo.

    Sending T & P and hoping they can get the bp issues under control!  So glad it's not affecting baby!  You're "Full term" tomorrow so that's good! *hugs*

    I'm sorry you are going through this! It sounds like they are doing everything they can though and keeping a close eye on both of you. I hope everything is ok and of they have to induce it is easy and you and the baby are fine. Good luck and keep is updated.

    I hope they are able to get your blood pressure under control!  If they have to induce you, I hope your delivery goes smoothly for both you and your baby.  Good luck!
