We're going on vacation next month and my DS refuses to sleep in a pack-n-play. He sleeps like an angel in his crib, but he has a really hard time sleeping in his pack-n-play. He's not ready yet for a toddler bed, so I'm not sure what to do.
Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Re: Can anyone recommend a travel bed for an 18 month old?

DS was in a toddler bed at 18 months, so by the first time we used it around 21 months, he familar with something other than his crib. It worked well, a little challenging to get him to actually fall alseep on his own on it, but we are getting there.
When DS was 16 months old, we went on vacation.. he was still in his crib at the time.. we got a mattress (also found on amazon) to fit the pnp and that helped a little.

It didn't fit perfectly.. we put a blanket in the gap...
Is that any bigger than a PNP?
Try this
where are you going? can a crib be rented there?
we rented a crib in Florida..best thing we ever did
Same size. Much much lighter though (less than half the weight of a PNP)... and sturdier too. DD sleeps well in it.
