Travel baby wipes container?

I have checked 4 drug stores so far and can't find those plastic, refillable wipes containers.  You know the one-- it's thin and fits in the diaper bag.  So far there are just mini packs of wipes or the giant plastic reusable box for the changing table.  Has anyone had success finding these?  Or found a suitable tupperware solution? TIA.

  • I haven't really looked at any stores, but diapers.com has them!

  • I'm just using Ziploc bags to keep mine in.

  • I registered for one at BRU and got it!  It has polka dots on it. :)

Pretty sure they sell them with wipes already in them, too, as we got another one from somebody else, and DH is going to use it in his diaper bag. I think it was by Johnson & Johnson or Pampers.  It had the natural wipes in it.

  • I found them at BRU by the diapers and baby food.

  • I also know a lot of people who use ziploc bags - they're just as air tight, and probably more flexible in terms of storage (since they're soft and bendable).

  • Our grocery store, Target, and BRU all have the ones made by pampers that come with like 20 wipes in them.

I know the dollar store sells some too that are empty.

skip hop sells one that's empty.

And they also make one that is a travel wipes warmer.

  • I got a couple Huggies travel wipes for $.99 at Walmart. I also bought just the travel container at a dollar store.

  • Huggies sells them w/ wipes inside. I bought 2 for a $1 each at a consignment sale...one has carebears on it hehe. Then I discovered that a portable changing mat we bought came with one too.
  • I saw them at both Wal-mart and Target yesterday with wipes in them for 1-1.99

  • Walmart has huggies ones, dollar general has empty ones and a lot of portable changing pads come with them too. I usually just buy the 60 count packs and throw them in the bag. you would be amazed how fast they go

I have a skiphop wipe container, but it doesn't hold a lot.. I just started using a zipper-ziploc bag.. it holds an entire pack of wipes and fits well in the diaper bag.. also since it's a zipper bag, you can squeeze all of the air out and the wipes don't dry out!

  • I haven't had any issues finding any with the diapers at the store. You can also get really nice ones on etsy.com. Totally not necessary, but I couldn't help myself.

  • I found mine at Walmart too.
  • I got one from Dollar General, but honestly, we never used it. I'm a wipe addict and would seriously use have the wipes in that little case for one bad diaper change. We just carry the whole resealable "brick" with us in the diaper bag. I could never be bothered to refill the little case.

  • Since it wasn't mentioned, if you ever buy Huggies wipes at Costco they come with plastic travel containers as well.

You sound just like my 2.5 year old.  Man that girl can go through some wipes.  She probably uses 50+ a day cleaning my house, clean chairs at restaurants, changing her baby dolls.  I kind of gave up fighting it, because it's her favorite thing to do.

  • You may be looking in the wrong place for them.  They aren't usually with the diapers, they are with the travel sized stuff (shampoo/conditioner/soap, etc).  Good luck!
