Holy Crap! My alma mater :(

So I heard about this when it happened (I mean, I still live 5 miles from the school, for goodness sake), but it made national news now!  

I'm so embarrassed that this happened at my alma mater.

I should probably keep this in my closet instead of sharing, but I was so shocked to open up Yahoo news and see a marquee I drive by every day!

    Aww that's too bad. Always makes me sad when hurtful things get through "editing" of yearbooks. Poor kids.

    I only read to first couple of lines of the story but thought the same thing - didn't a teacher edit the yearbook before it went out?  So sad.

    That's too bad.

    If it makes you feel any better, my alma mater was in the news recently for denying a same-sex couple entrance to the prom. :(

    I was so surprised to see it in the news now.  I heard about it from friends a couple weeks ago.  They were recalled right away, but what an oversight!
