Preeclampsia
So, the last 2 weeks my blood pressure has been pretty high and I?ve gotten super swollen to where I can?t fit any of my shoes on and I can?t get my rings off anymore. (I woke up one morning swollen and that was that) I had my 37 week appointment today and my blood pressure was still high, I?ve gotten even more swollen, I?ve been having headaches, had vision changes and just flat out exhausted. My doctor ran some blood work and told me to do the 24 hour urine test and we?d go from there. Well he called back a little while ago and said my blood work came back a little high but not super worrisome yet. So now he wants me to start my urine collection ASAP instead of waiting until tomorrow to start. So he said to bring it back tomorrow afternoon and they?d look at the results and check my blood pressure again and if it comes back that there is protein in my urine he?s going to admit me and induce me right away. If there?s no protein in my urine he wants to start seeing me twice a week to watch my blood pressure then induce at 39 weeks instead. I?m starting to get anxious now. In a way I?m excited that I could have a baby within a few days but also nervous since there is still technically three weeks to go. But doc assured me that he has many patients that have to deliver in week 37 because of preeclampsia so I guess if he isn?t worried than I shouldn?t be either. Now just very anxious and have no idea what to expect!!

I am going through this now! Just did the urine collection yesterday, had blood work this morning and I see my Dr. tomorrow morning for results. I am 35w4d though--- so I'm really hoping that if I have preeclampsia, that it isn't so bad that he cant wait a couple of weeks to induce me!
I'm also concerned cause he might want me to stop working and I can NOT afford that right now, so of course that is causing stress!!!!
Since week 28 I have has high BP. I have been going weekly since then. I have been on bed est for my BP since week 34. Last week at week 36 I had a small amount of protein in my urine. If nothin has changed he will induce me when I go back Wednesday. Im freakinnout but I know he will do what he feels like is best. I as well was told I will not go past 39 weeks. Good luck!!
