I was wondering where would be the best place to get letters to spell the baby's name and put them on the wall? Or get something personalized to put on his door?
I'm fairly certain you get can them at any craft store. I've seen them at Walmart, however the last time I looked, they didn't have every letter of the alphabet. BRU has them as well. And as others have mentioned, you can buy them online. Amazon has quite a selection.

Totally depends on what you want! I bought boring old wooden letters from WalMart for DS1. This time, I'm not doing his name, just "AHOY" to fit our pirate theme. I was looking for a specific font and had to check several craft stores to find it. I painted the edges red and will cover the front of each with a coordinating scrapbook paper.
Rosenberryrooms.com has TONS of cute personalized stuff but it can get pricey. Etsy too! We're getting a black vinyl wall cling that is a huge pirate ship and it will say "Captain [Name]" on it.

We got ours at BRU online (the store only carried one variety and they were a little too big). The BRU website has quite a few, but they aren't super cheap (the ones we wound up getting were $10.99/ea. I know....a little ridiculous).
I, too, have seen them at Michael's, AC Moore, Hobby Lobby, etc. And you'd save money painting them yourself I'm just lazy... lol
Michaels has them for like $3.00 each I think, and they are about 9 inches tall. Here's the link to the site but it doesn't show price for some reason.
I was in Michaels the other day. Not sure if the price varies by store or anything but I think they were less than $2 each. I know that we could have spelled out our baby's name (Lillian, 7 letters) for less than $10.
We're going to have ours either above the crib or above the changing table. I'm thinking of having the crib diagonal in a corner, which obviously won't allow for me to put them there, but we'll see how it looks. On the door we're going to have this (comes in blue for a boy, too) and that's all.
Oooh and here's a cute idea: in a local 'antique' store I saw some that were a little different. Picture the letter, painted pink (or blue!). Now picture it inside a white shadowbox frame, with white ribbon at the top for hanging. They were adorable, but $12 EACH and the lady wouldn't knock the price down even if we bought seven of them. Ugh. (Oh, and they had a 'made in Taiwan' sticker on the back of them, so it's not like they were actual antiques!)
I go to letterboutique.com. I found them on ebay and used them with my first DD. They have a TON of coordinating patterns. I'd be surprised if you didn't find the match to your bedding. They also hand paint them -- so expect 6-8 wks delivery. They are well worth the wait...free shipping but they are about $10 a letter.
Re: Baby Letters for Nursery
