Are your/SO's grandparents still living? If so, do you see them often?

I have 3 living grandmothers. One is in-state, and I see her probably once a month. One I see a couple times a year, and the other I have only met once. DH has 1 living grandmother who also lives out-of state. We see her probably once a year.

I have one living grandma that I don't see very much bc she is a pain in the butt. She loves to create drama and is exhausting to deal with.

DH has one surviving step grandfather who we see a lot, 1 stepgrandmother and 1 biological grandma.

I have my dads parents still alive. They live about 20mi away. They are exhausting though so we see them about once a month.

DH has 1 grandmother left. She lives out of state so we haven't seen her for a few years.

Both DH and I have no living grandparents left. We haven't for a long time and it's pretty sad. I would have loved Saoirse to know them.

My maternal grandmother is my only living grandparent. I think all of H's passed away, I'm not 100% sure though, he still has a lot of relatives that live in Mexico that he doesn't really talk about much.

Eta- I see my grandmother at least once a week and talk to her several times a day on the phone. We only just became close in the past 5 or so years, but better late than never.

My maternal grandparents have passed. My great grandmother just passed away a month ago.

My paternal grandparents are still alive but we don't see them very often

Mikes paternal grandparents passed before he was born. He sees his maternal grandfather every so often and he hasn't talked to his maternal grandmother since he was a kid.

My husband's last living grandparent passed away in April. I haven't had a living grandparent since 1998.

My paternal grandparents' second marriages were both to people much younger than themselves so I have kind of step-grandparentish people who I've known my whole life. I don't have a relationship with them though because they are both enormous asssholes.

I still have both of my grandmothers & J has a grandmother.

Mine live within 10 miles of us & we see them often. His is 3 hours away so we only see her a few times a year.

My grandma is the only living of all my grandparents and DH. DH grandma died 10 years ago at 91, wow.

My grandmothers are both living. My mom's mom is only 74 (she had her first at 15 and my mom at 16) and I see her quite frequently. My dad's mom is 87 and in a nursing home, and I don;t see her as much as I used to, I used to see her all the time, but it is hard to get to the nursing home.

My grandfathers both passed away, and all of DH's grandparents have also. He really never met his grandfathers, and his grandmothers he only met once or twice since they lived in England.

I have only met my Grandfather on my dads side but he died in 97. My grandmothers and grandfather died before I was born. DH's grandparants are all deceased as well. It's sad : ( I never really knew any of my grandparents, the grandfather I knew had a brain tumor when I was little and I am told he was never the same, so I never really got to know him.

I do not have any living grandparents, not since I was 13.

H's grandfather is still alive. We just celebrated his 97th bday! We see him a few times a month- when he has time. He's very busy with church activities, teaching the blind to cross country ski, bowl, golf, etc!

He has more energy than I do.

I still have both grandparents on my dads side (late 80s) and my grandmother on my mom's side. Her father actually passed away the day of my wedding (after being critical for 7 years). They live across the country but we Skype with DD frequently.

H has no living grandparents.

I only ever had 1 grandparent growing up and she passed 2 weeks before my wedding almost 2 years ago. DH has both grandmas still living and we see them about once a year.

DH and I both only have one grandmother still living. I see my grandma several times a week (she lives with my parents and they watch DD for me). DH grandma we see at least once a month at family functions.

There are family members on my dad's side that could biologically be called my "grandparents", but I would never give them the honor of calling them that!
