Experienced BF weaners RE engorgement

So my last day breastfeeding my LO was Last thursday.  So its been roughly 3 days with not BFing at all.  I gradually weaned her for a couple weeks so I wouldnt have major engorgement.  However, its day 3 and my boobies are engorged.  I relieve them a little in the shower, but I am wondering how long this will last? 

What has been your previous experience? Also, did your bra size go down significantly?  I need new bras and will wait a little bit to get them, but how long should I wait to have an appropriate size?

    I can't say from experience, but take a decongestant, things with the -D after it: Claritin-D, etc... Dries up anything, mucusy nose or milky boobs.

    I am also interested to hear when the girls get to a stable size. I need new bras!
