Baby preferring side?

Does anyone else's baby prefer one side to the other? My baby has literally spent the last month head down on my right side. I normally wouldn't mind but the baby has picked a favorite spot and keeps pushing it's butt out SO HARD that it has given me stretch marks the size of a baby butt there. I wouldn't care if it didn't hurt or if the baby would move over every once in awhile. I tried putting ice there (wrapped up and just for a few minutes) to see if it would make the baby move, but it just resulted in angry little kicks. Has anyone else had this happen? Any ideas for relief?

Mine did prefer the right side until about a month ago. Now she loves the entire womb equally!

Mine loves the right side and every now and then I get a little butt sticking out. I've found if I rub the bump it creates she lets up and the bump on my bump goes away. LOL Maybe it will work for your LO too?

Mine has been hanging out on the right side now for the last 4 or 5 weeks. I am lopsided.

Mine has mostly been on the right side for a couple of months now, and is showing no signs of moving. Every once in a great while I'll feel something on the left, and pretty often I also feel her in the middle. Every time we go in for check ups, though, she has her back to my left and her feet in my right side.

LO is head down with his back/butt on my right side and his feet on my left he's been this way since 24 weeks. It's funny because this is the exact position DS was in from 30 weeks on, he never really changed positions except to put his feet up in my ribs.

Mine has been on the right side from the beginning and sometimes it looks like I have a tumor or something on that side lol. Strangely I have a few stretch marks popping up on the left side which doesnt make sense to me.

Exactly this for me. He loves the right side and his butt is constantly sticking out lol. When I give him a good rub, he settles down.

On my left side! She just loves that side..my belly is completely lopsided most of the time. Once in a while she'll move around and settle for either my entire belly or my right side but for the most part, she hangs out on my left side. I would imagine that's her butt just making a bump on my bump..I just rub it and sometime she moves only to go back to the same postion a few minutes later or she doesn't care and just chills out there....right now it can be a little bothersom since it can hurt but I know that I will miss it when she's out!
