Just curious about your LO's clothing size.
DS was at my IL's yesterday, and MIL kept making comments about how his clothes are "too small" because they are 12 month clothes. However, DS is pretty petite and his 18 month clothes slide right off of him. I know the "sizes" are just guidelines and approximations, but I'm curious about the size of your December LOs! (For comparison. DS is in 12 month and some 9 month pants, but 12 month and 18 month shirts. Our friends DD who is a month older is in 2T clothes.)

She is in between 18 mo and 2t. I voted 2t though.
ETA: I think 2t and 24m are the same thing. I have held them up together and I don't see a single difference in size.
Your siggy makes me smile. I love Tristan... what dance is that from?
Ha, I know! I'm hoping that he still manages to get a partner for the All-Star season in the fall. I would miss him if he wasn't on.
It's from his Design-a-Dance samba with Chelsie last week.
We're transitioning to 18 month stuff right now. It is still too big, but the 12 month stuff is starting to be too short.
That being said I still have a 6-12 month outfit that is too loose on her that I put her in. She's tall and skinny.

This is R exactly! Though he does wear some 24 mo pants/shorts. He's 85% for height & weight as of last pedi visit, and as per usual his head size is in the mid-90%! LOL

I voted for 2T. All the shorts/t-shirts we have for him right now are that size.
The shirts fit him great. For most of the pants I can roll the waist band over once and then they fit better (espeically if he's in a disposable diaper, if he's got a big cloth diaper butt then 2T shorts fit better).
He's really tall - but he's got the skinniest little waist. I'm sure 18m pants would fit him perfectly, but when I bought any shorts/clothes on sale over the winter/last summer I bought them all in 2T.
I voted SS - right now some of her 12m are getting tight, but 18m are still way too big.
4T! Wow! How tall is she?
he is in 12 month pants, and his shirts are half 12 month, half 18 month. The 18 month tees are a little big on him, and the 12 month are just right, so I bought mostly 18 month summer tees. A little big is ok. But if I bought 18 month pants, he would just walk out of them. He has a slim little tummy
She was 33" at her 15 month check up 2 months ago. She's grown since then as well. Maybe 35" now? But it's really all in her torso. Her 18 month pants are still too long.

DS is primarily in 18-24. He is in 2T PJs.
DS has a few things in 18 months that still fit, but for the most part, he's wearing
2T. He has a big buddha, so we need to cover it up. 2T pants tend to be a little long, but we make them work.
I'm going "special snowflake" on this one. He has some 12 month stuff that fits fine (mostly shirts) and some 18 month stuff that fits (mostly pants - which fit around the waist, but are too long.) He even has some 9-12 month shirts that fit fine.
I voted 18-month because that's what I buy her now, but she really only wears 12-month bottoms - 18-month falls off of her. She needs 18-month shirts though because of her long torso (otherwise she's showing off her belly and diaper all the time).
We still have some size 6-12-month onesies (Gap and First Moments brands) that fit that we've turned into jammies.
In other words, her sizes are all over the place, lol. But I feel like I'll be able to buy and put her in 18-month stuff for the majority of this year.
I picked 18 months because that's mostly what he's wearing now. I did, however, put him in a pair of 12 month jeans yesterday in a disposable diaper (we CD) and they were halfway down his bum
.
So, with the extra fluff - 18 months. Without it - 12 months, easy.
