My H totally hosed my birthday yesterday. I had to tell my own daughter it was my birthday because he has been so focused on himself recently that he didn't even take her shopping to get me anything. He didn't forget it was my birthday or anything. He just didn't do anything for it. He also didn't even get me a card because he "didn't have time" although he did try to get me to go the next aisle over in the store so he could let the kid pick out something for me. By that point I was so irritated that I told him don't worry about it. Oh, and I had to buy my own birthday cake that we didn't even eat last night. Grr.

The gym is try to charge us for an extra month even though we cancelled our membership. This will cause our account to over draw before I can get my pay check in today because I paid all the bills out of DH's check and they all have gone through!

DH just called and his truck is acting up. Awesome. Just what we need.

I have a huge zit on my forehead.

Do you have a rubber band or hair tie on hand? Loop it through the button hole, and around the button Big Smile I've been able to avoid the BeBand so far this pregnancy

I have a huge "underzit" (the kind you cant really see, they are deep under the skin) right by my eyebrow. Everytime I move my brow, it hurts.

I also skipped grocery shopping yesterday because I napped and then didnt feel like going. I need to go on my lunch today, but I dont want to.

I would like to take back my earlier B&M, bc I am just remembering something. I got "upgraded" to a new version of windows and office as part of a pilot program at work. And it sucksss. I think I have been about 30% less productive since it got installed, a lot of my software won't run on this system until they buy the updated versions, and my fancy new office programs run slow as hellll. Just like me today...

Ugh underzits suck! I had one on my cheek a few days ago and it hurt so badly.

My B&M is I looked in the mirror today and out of nowhere I have a bunch of white hairs underneath on the one side! I'm only 31! So wanted to cry.

I am soooo close to being done with this semester (and my 2nd year of grad school along with it). The only thing standing in my way is a gigantic beast of a take-home final that's due tomorrow at midnight, and I know I'll be working down to the wire. I've spent 6 of the last 7 days stuck at home all day working on the previous 2 beasts and I'm just so burnt out and ready for a break. And of course the weather has been absolutely gorgeous. And then when I finally do get a break it will only be a week and a half long. I just want to spend time with my family and concentrate on growing a healthy baby, dangit!

I totally feel you. I was so sick with DD; vommy all 9 months multiple times/day. This pregnancy, first trimester, I was nauseous but only vommy a few times total. Since I hit 13 weeks, it's been sickness with a VENGANCE. I really want one of those pretzels you get from the movie theater, but I don't want to see a movie to get one.

After 2+ weeks of being home on bedrest, I was cleared to come back to work today part time. My boss is great and they have no problem with this. I've been up and around more today already than I have been at home by this time of day, even when we were testing my severe cramping to see if I could manage at work. Well, I'm cramping. Badly. It's no secret I hate my job (I work as a doc in a women's prison...) except at work. But I need the money. We will get super behind on our bills if we don't have an income. STD called Friday to say they won't pay for my issue-- even though they only pay like 40% of my income anyway, which we can't live on. I am in between a rock and a hard place and I am super frustrated. I just don't know what to do.

My cell phone will no longer charge, and of course this happens one month after the warrenty expired. Mix that with the fact that our tenant (we rent the townhome I bought before I met DH) hasn't paid rent in 2 months & we are in the middle of an evicition, I'm NOT in the mood to throw down $200 for a new phone.

I think I have a sinus infection starting. This comes after a wicked sore throat and horrible sounding cough. Then this weekend allergies decided to join the party. I feel fine but my face hurts and I'm sick of blowing my nose, coughing and having crap in my throat. Please go away sickness!

Also, after being shamed last week re: poorly cared for gardens I weeded my garden yesterday and in addition to pulling many many weeds, I pulled a few muscle too. It was worth it though, while they're not perfect the gardens look much much better.

AW!! Im so sorry Sad Im glad your coworker brought you in a cookie though. Cookies always help cure a little bit of the sadness.

My B&M today is about my "wonderful" Monday. So I work for a University and all the students just left this weekend. Well I know that the shops on campus hold summer hours, but for some reason I completely forgot that the first week is absolutely dead. The shuttle I take to work is on a different schedule, I forgot, and was late to work. Then the little convenience store I usually get my breakfast and lunch is closed all this week. So it was handfulls of dry cereal for breakfast. Then for lunch I was forced to order Jimmy Johns because I throw up at the smell of chinese and I didnt wanna order a whole pizza for myself. I hate Jimmy Johns. I always get 3/4 of the way through the sandwhich and then just wanna puke (plus they were 45 minutes late and I was on the verge of eating my desk when they got here). Luckily I treated myself to a giant cookie. Can't wait for this work day to be OVER! Indifferent

I am frustrated that the genetic counselor has still not called me after my NT scan. I left a message Friday and still nothing. My results were negative but the ratio was higher for my age due to low PAPP-A. Of course I am still nervous about what that means.

I'm pissed that three collaborators of mine are stalling all three of my work projects this week by not forwarding me basic paperwork for very flimsy personal reasons. There will come a point when I can't work on these projects and they know that. I don't care if they pull their weight right now, just don't get in my way so I can pull mine.

Still not as bad as the birthday post. That's a serious bummer. Sorry to hear that - and Happy Belated Birthday!!!!

Lol it's totally fine. It was the motivation I needed. That and the fact that the Memorial Day parade goes right past our house and I want it to look good for that! There's still so much to do on them it's ridiculous but we'll get it done.

Then to the woman who got annoyed that I needed to grab onto the railing because "it hurts my neck to have your arm behind me" Well, then move. There's room in front of you for you to take one step forward. OR would you rather your neck hurt because I'm strangling you?

Ugh. And I still have the ride home to contend with. Joyous.

Then I realized he has to teach a night class tonight so it's back to being on my own. Grrrr...
