Looking for a shred of hope...please.

I'm am really, really down and I'm looking for any shred of hope I cn find.

Friday night after work I took a HPT and got a BFP.

Saturday morning I took another and again got a BFP.

Saturday early afternoon I took yet another (FRER) and yup, BFP.

This morning I took a fourth test -a FRER- and it was BFN.

Im devastated.  My beta is tomorrow.  Is there any hope?  Did anyone get positive hpts, then a negative and still get a positive beta?

    I don't have any experience, but I want to send tons of T&Ps that you have a great beta tomorrow hon. It's not over yet. (((((hugs)))))

    I don't have any experience with that, just had HPT's that never got dark, they were all barely a line type of ones.  I even took one a day after my second beta with DS and it was barely there.  Are you using digitals or the regular ones?

    I just want to send many positive thoughts to you and hope that it is a great beta.

    First u/s on 7/13/09 @6w0d heard and saw heartbeat 102 bpm.
    K M #1 arrived via c/s 3/1/10 10 lbs, 22 inches long at 39 weeks.

    Surprise expecting #2. Med-free BFP on 8/1/11! Beta@15DPO 58.2 Beta@17DPO 198.3 Beta@23DPO 2338. EDD 4/9/12
    K M #2 arrived via c/s 3/19/12 9 lbs 2 oz, 21 inches long at 37 weeks.

    I'm holding onto hope for you. You never know. Maybe your pee was too diluted? I am sending lots of thoughts your way.

    I just experienced something similar last cycle and it ended up being a c/p, except I never got a BFP on FRER, only internet cheapies, which I believe are more sensntive. They never got any darker yet they never got any lighter either. It sucked so bad having it be over before it even started.

    Ugh, I'm hoping this is not the case for you though. Will be sending good thoughts your way on beta day!

    i think all tests can give false negatives sometimes, so i say there is still hope.

    I don't have any personal experience but wanted you to know I'm pulling for you. I do know the wait between 1st and 2nd betas is the longest 48 hours ever...so wishing you good thoughts and a high doubling beta for that too!

    could be a wonky test.  I took hpt's...they were all getting darker.  Then at around 8-9 weeks along, I decided to take another hpt because I wasn't feeling too pregnant.  Well that test was way way lighter than my tests at 4-5 weeks.  I mean, the control line was darker than the test line!  So imagine my beta numbers at 9 weeks with twins!  probably pretty high.  Well, my hpt showed up so light, I was afraid that I miscarried and wasn't pregnant anymore.  Well, my twins are 10m old so obviously that was just a bad batch of tests.

    I recently had a "bad batch" of FRER tests. The same thing happened to me and I was devastated, but when I bought another pack I started getting positives again. I'm currently 29 weeks pregnant. Buy a new pack and try again, or a different brand, or just wait for your beta, but all hope is not neccessarily lost. Good luck.
