Yikes I'm experiencing my first sticker shock moment. 3 rounds of clomid and trigger shots did not prepare me for how much Gonal-F is going to cost WITH my insurance. They said something like $1200.
Can that be right?

My 900IU gonal f pen was 844 and my 450IU was 700-ish. The pharmacy I used works with my doctor's office and I got a little bit of a discount. (I'm talking no more than 90 on the bigger pen and like 40 on the other.)
TTC #1 since 3/2011

DH is a testicular cancer survivor
IVF#1 w/ICSI lupron, gonal f, ovidrel
ER 6/15/12 6R 6M 6F! ET 6/20/12

TTC#2: 6/2014 all testing came back normal
IVF#2 (#1 for LO#2) 9/2014 - 17R 10M 10F 4 blasts frozen on day 6.
I had no insurance coverage, and the Gonal-F pens were $104 at my clinic (which has about the cheapest dang pharmacy in the area). I wound up using like 5-6 pens, so it was around $500-$600 for me for an IVF cycle
Re: Gonal-F costs how much?
The other pharmacy was more! I have a message into my doctor to switch me to Follistim - my OOP cost for that is $200.
