Re: First PP doctor appt
There wasn't at my 2 week PP appointment.
Basically it was a weight check, blood pressure check, and a look at the incision. I didn't even have to undress anything. They re-evaluated the "do's and don't" (like you can lift ____lbs now, but still no sex until the next appointment). I had a little verbal PPD survey and some warning signs to watch out for there.
I had some blood pressure issues while I was in labor and after my c/s so they ran through possible causes there and since my blood pressure was still a little elevated I got some blood work done too.
Otherwise my 6 week PP appointment had the internal exam (and then it was time for my yearly pap so I got that out of the way). It didn't feel great but wasn't really any different than a regular pap--probably less than a minute total. Then my OB wanted to talk birth control, option of VBAC or not, etc.
Melissa! Congrats! This is Brianna from TTGP. Your daughter is beautiful. I haven't seen you on the Bump since our TTGP days!
I want to say that I had an internal but I could be wrong. Those first weeks were a little hazy.
Hey!!!! Thank you
Miss you doll! I took a bump break when I got pregnant. Just had so much going on. How are you?!
