I love the man to death - but he is not feeling well and i cannot take it anymore. He woke up with back pain yesterday - yes, i know it hurts to throw out your back, it stinks to be in pain but SHUT UP about it already. Seriously, he has done nothing but talk about not feeling well for about 28 hours in a row now. Can someone please explain to me how I can get so much down when sick or in pain, but he is so whiney? This is not the first or the last time but ARGH. And he is like, I know you are mad when i dont feel well - I say - I am not mad, I just know that the next few days will suck because you will complain insistently until you feel better.
anyone else

Re: my husband is a baby (vent)
This is one stereotype that I totally follow! I definitely feel like 90% of men are like this. And, of course when they're sick they can't do ANYTHING! Even just a bad cold. Whereas when women are sick we still manage to straighten up after ourselves, take care of dinner (even if it's ordering pizza), and keep the house in order.
MD weekend Ty got me sick and all of a sudden DH was like, yeah I might be sick too. I literally said - "Oh no you don't. I have a fever and in utter pain from it. Unless you're legitimately sick I really REALLY need your help!" Seemed to work because he was very helpful on MD and surprisingly feeling much better.
