Babies: 0 - 3 Months

Someone motivate me...

I have 8 loaves of pumpkin bread to bake and a macaroni and cheese bake to make from scratch. And I want to curl up on the couch with a blanket and pumpkin chai latte and watch the Sex and the City movie.

Why did I volunteer to cook?? I could have just said that this year with the new baby, I couldn't swing anything fancy and brought store bought cookies or something. *sigh*

  • Ugh, I don't know what time zone you are in but it's almost 930 here and I am doing all I can to keep my eyes open until our family from out of town gets here.  I can't imagine cooking now.  Sorry, I'm no help.

  • It's 8:30 here. I should have done this hours ago, but I've been procrastinating. Once it's in the oven, it won't be so bad... I just need to get the motivation to get that far...
  • maybe you could get up earlier and do it in the morning?? I'd just recruit my DH to help
  • i am sorry!  I am going to mom's and just making a simple salad.  I have no energy to cook and I dont even know how to :)

  • I feel for ya...I work nights, 4 on 4 off. Tomorrow night is my first on in the cycle (and my first back from maternity leave, at that). So here I am, staying up all night so I can sleep tomorrow. DH left with the girls to his parents house. However, I am getting up in the middle of the day tomorrow to drive the 1 hour there for dinner, then coming back and sleeping another few hours before work. Anyways, DH was so kind as to volunteer me to make stuffed mushrooms. Thanks, DH, I made most of them earlier today, but still have a couple dozen more to stuff tonight. Bah! At least it will keep me awake I guess.
