XP: Looking for a shred of hope...please.

I'm am really, really down and I'm looking for any shred of hope I cn find.Friday night after work I took a HPT and got a BFP.Saturday morning I took another and again got a BFP.Saturday early afternoon I took yet another (FRER) and yup, BFP.This morning I took a fourth test -a FRER- and it was BFN.Im devastated. My beta is tomorrow. Is there any hope? Did anyone get positive hpts, then a negative and still get a positive beta?

For whatever reason, I always got stronger positives on HPTs in the evening than I did in the morning. I once got a +HPT the evening of 7dp5dt, but a negative test the next morning. It was positive again that evening. My beta on 9dp5dt was 100 for that cycle.

Hope this morning was just a fluke!

i just wanted to say good luck. I think lots of times it is determined by the concentration of the HCG in your body (how long its had to build up, etc). I wouldn't be so down on yourself--it is what it is, and thankfully you only have to wait until tomorrow to find out! Worrying will just make you sick. In my experience, I went to my beta pissed at the world because it was at 7:00 am before work, was 45 minutes away, AND I had been bleeding for a WEEK before the beta. I knew I was wasting my time--yeah, I was (and am) pregnant with identical triplets. Hang in there, your three BFPs give me great hope.

Just because---were you doing fertility treatments? Did you have an HCG trigger? did you test it out? could the BFPs be the trigger? How many dpo were you? (or DP transfer or whatever)? Good luck either way---just more info might help.

Your urine might have not have been concentrated enough at the time of the BFN. Try again with first morning urine. GL!

If you aren't bleeding at this point, I'd say there definitely still is a chance. With how much hCG fluctuates in the beginning, one test is not definitive enough to call it. Likely you're dealing with hCG >50mIU/mL which when highly concentrated gives great results however drinking more liquids or salad can alter the results. I pray it isn't a C/P and you get your positive beta tomorrow. T&P's go out to you!
