Should I cut these?

I am in love with the following names, but they don't sound great with our last name. WDYT? Should they be nixed, or can the issue be overlooked?

Delilah

Lorelai (or Lorelei)

Lily

eta- also we like Lola (not as much as the others)

The last name sounds like Lyndhurst. I think they just don't work

I don't think Delilah and Lorelei sound that bad. It's a lot of Ls, but not bad. Lily Lyndhurst does sort of sound similar because of the vowel sound.

If you're not feeling them, then yeah, knock them off the list. I don't see anything I would side-eye or think poorly of, but if you feel that it would bother you, that's reason enough to look at some other names.

They're all very pretty names, though; I like your style!

I would Lily and Lorelai due to the alliteration because to me the L's are easy to tongue tie. I might keep Delilah but when I pronounce this name I put an emphasis on the D sound.

i probaby would cut them, sorry. that being said, if these are your absolute favorite names, just go for it. if you want a certain name that much, you'll get over the sound of her first and last name together pretty fast.

I'm sorry, but I think those don't sound good with a name like Lyndhurst, even though I like them by themselves. It's up to you how big a deal that is, but if it were me, I'd cut them. I feel your pain, we had to cut some names we liked because of our last name, but we love what we've ended up with!
