What jogging stroller do you have? Do you like it?

We are going to get a jogging stroller for Gabe.  We want it to be very light and easy to fold up.  We will use it for jogging on fairly level paved/mulched/gravel trails.  Suggestions?

  • I have a double BOB evolution. Best stroller I have ever had, you can literally push it with your pinky finger. They come in single too :)

  • I have the bob dualie revolution too! I love it! I bought used and it was worth every penny. Make sure you get a swivel wheel, other wise they are wicked hard to turn. Mine turns on a dime.

  • We have the Baby Trend from Target. We really didn't want to spend a lot so we chose that one for about 100.00.So far we like it. Its not to bulky either. One thing that annoys the hell out of me is that when u switchto the upright position u have to pull on a string and it gradually moves back to the recline position.

  • I also have a baby trend single and love it too but it gets very little use now. :(

  • We have the InStep Grand Safari. We do like it. It has a front wheel that can be swivel-y or fixed. What I don't like about it is that, when the front wheel is on the swivel setting, if you go over the slightest bit of bumpy ground the whole stroller shakes like crazy. So we keep it fixed all the time. I think it may have something to do with the amt of air in the tires, because right after we filled them we could use it on the other setting. It's nice to have that setting if you want to use it in the mall or stores. Anyway, it's a good stroller. My parents found one on sale at ***'s for $75.

ETA: I wondered if that would happen. D I C K 's - that very vulgar sporting goods store.

All of this but I still love it. It really is one hand fold up and release. And I've used it on dirt, sidewalk, gravel, and mulch/ bark surfaces and it was very easy to maneuver and E still had a smooth ride.

  • We have the baby trend expedition one that was on sale at target for $90 a few weeks ago. I like it so far. Its so smooth. pretty light weight and easy to fold, not too big and bulky like I have seen some.

  • We have baby trend too, it was a travel system. I really like it. We can take it anywhere with no problems & the back wheels come off & go back on with 1 hand to make it a little more compact. The few times I actually got to use it for jogging it was good set to swivel or fixed but truthfully we got it more for the offroad ability than the jogging.

Do you want to run with the stroller?  I love my BOB Revolution for both outings and running.  If you aren't going to run with it, then I don't think there is a reason to waste your money on a BOB.
