Oprah just gave you 1 million dollars

you can't keep it.

you have to give it away.

you cannot give it to any of your family members or friends.

what would you do with it?

    I'd donate it to some military cause, like care packages or something of that sort. Wait...does that count as a relative?? LOL

    Alzheimer's research and some Animal rescue or several... I don't know which at the moment though.

    Ohhh, I'd say I'd split it up between:

    $250,000: social service type stuff (food shelters, homeless shelters, battered women shelters)

    $250,000 children's hospital

    $250,000 cancer research 

    $100,000 animal shelter

    $50,000 "grant" for someone to go to college that wouldn't otherwise be able to afford it.

    $100,000 for Xmas gifts for children in need

    All of these gifts would also be anonymous! Was that too detailed? Oh, I love imagining though!

    Internationally:  Support for the orphanages in Cambodia.  Medical help and prosthetics for those injured by war/landmines in Cambodia and Sri Lanka.

    Nationally:  Funding for better mental health care and facilities as well as building and staffing more shelters.  This would take several million dang it.

     Locally:  Food bank support and backpacks for kids program.

    Have a home/start a charity for people in crisis/unplanned pregnancy...also assist people w/ adoption, etc.
