Cheap carseat recommendations ?

We need a second carseat, but we don't need anything fancy or expensive. It's only going to be used minimally so we're not looking to spend a ton of money on it . Does anyone have any recommendation?

    We got our nautilus on amazon for $134. There are cheaper ones out there, but I think amazon's a good place to look.

    What's your budget and are you looking for a forward facing only seat or will you be using it rear facing as well?

    Safety 1st Alpha Omega Elite.  We got ours at Costco for around $70.  It's actually our regular carseat and works fine for us.

    Thats perfect. lol I'm looking for FF. The boys have Recaros in my car but it's also everyday, we need something for at least Tim for Mikes car, but it wouldnt be used a heck of a lot so we were trying to get away with using a cheapo. I know they all  have to be safe and meet certain requirements but Im sure some rank higher than others.

    I have been happy with the Evenflo carseats.  They make several between $50-$100. 
    DS born 8/8/09 and DD born 6/12/12.

    For FF only, look at the Evenflo Maestro.  It is $70 at Walmart and I think Baby Depot/Burlington Coat Factory has them as well.

    Ditto this if you're looking for FF only. It has very high top harness slots (same height as graco nautilus) so it will last a long time (far longer than the cosco scenera) and it becomes a high back booster.

    This we looked it up on consumers reports and it was listed as the safest for up to 40 pound category. We got it at Kmart for $55. Consumers reports had the Costco Serena 40RF I think.
