summer ring sling

I have been looking into getting a ring sling for summer with a lighter material. i found some on an etsy store that are made of athletic shorts material and are water safe. I was thinking of ordering one, but I was worried that the slick material would slip through the rings. It is very slippery, you know? anyone have any experience with slings made of this material?

    I don't have a mesh sling, but I love my linen SBP sling for the summer!
