Total vent. I am so OLD and my poor baby

Bamboozle started tonight. Six outdoor stages. Four surrounding our condo. The main stage outside Lucas' room. Started at 5 and ended at 11. He went to sleep okay. We had to close all windows and raise the volume on his white noise. I couldn't fall asleep because the base of some horrific heavy metalish band shook my walls for over an hour. I finally pass out and that's when the fireworks begin at 11. WTF dude. Of course the freaking fireworks wake Lucas. DH has been trying to calm him now for over 30 minutes. Poor thing had such a rough teething day and finally was asleep. We have two more nights of this crap!!!!!!  Each freaking night has to end in fireworks. I should have left town!!!

    Oh no.  I am so sorry!  Hope he finally goes down and sleeps ok tonight.  Can you go somewhere tomorrow?

    oh that totally sucks...so u live in nj??? me 2 but i live in north jersey. poor baby, the fireworks probably scared him :(

    Every hotel for like 50 + miles is sold out through Sunday night. Not to mention our road is closed and traffic is indescribable.  DH finally just got him down and in his crib. Bless that husband of mine. I'd be lost without him.

    Yup. In asbury literally across the street from the convention hall. I can see the main stage from Lucas' bedroom window.

    I'm from south jersey too...but I've transplanted to Florida.  My friend on FB was just lamenting about the same problem, she has 2 little ones and said that she can hear everything!

    OMG we are dying to transplant to Florida!!!!! We are teachers though and fear the job outlook there.

    Yay! Come to Florida! JK...I am in South Florida (Fort Lauderdale area) and there are not a lot of teaching jobs in my tri-county area.  You might have better luck in central/northern Florida or the West Coast.

    We are on the West Coast, in Collier County.  Teaching jobs are aplenty!!  The problems with the pay, evaluations, and administrations are horrendous though.  I couldn't wait to get out!
