Moms of girls- 1st Birthday gifts?

What are you getting your DDs?  We have so many toys from DS but I feel like she needs some "girl" toys, like a dolly/baby, etc.  Anyone have any recs for "girl-toys" that your DDs love/have loved??  TIA!

    DD has a couple of dolls that she likes. she recently got a drum with sticks and a tambourine. she loves it. nothing we've gotten her for her bday is gender specific though.

    We got her the Step 2 Smile and Ride Buggy in pink for her birthday. She loves it! She climbs on it herself when she wants to go for a ride.

    We aren't purposefully buying sex-specific toys, but she does have an amazing baby doll that she loves that we bought her for Christmas.  It's the Celeste knitted doll from Bla Bla Kids.  

    For her first birthday, we bought her a wooden toy piano.  She's been playing with it for a while now and loves it.

    I got her a little tyles picnic table, a dress and two pairs of shoes.  so far. ;)  depending on what she gets at her birthday party i am contemplating getting her a water table, some knd of musical instrument and puzzles.

    I got my LO a little tikes shopping cart and a xylophone for her birthday and my parents bought her a water table. Sorry, not gender specific.

    What about a cute purse with lots of zippers and snaps and stuff? That would be fun and girly.

    We got DD a water table and a little tikes 3 in 1 trike (they come in purple!) and she loves them both! She got a wagon from mamaw and papaw and a baby doll/ clothes from her cousins.

    We didn't get gender-specific either.  We got her the V-tech alphabet train which she LOVES and a baby laptop (we both work on laptops and she's always wanting to pound on the keys).

    We didn't buy her specific girl toys, but lots of people bought her the little Fisher Price learning purse, Leap Frog Violet learning dog, things like that. She got a couple of dolls, but mostly pink learning toys and puzzles.

    The big gift from us was a vintage Dexton ride on car, my mom got her a pink Cozy Coupe.

    She got a bitty baby from American Girl, as well as some accessories for it.  I know the accessories are not needed, but my sister wouldn't listen to me.  

    We bought her an Alligator seesaw and a play house for outside.  

     she got a bubble machine, clothes and the start of the Fancy Nancy book series form SIL.  

     we already have all the "big" things from my son... wagon, trike, push buggy, cozy couple, small swing set, as well as bigger toys.. piano, laugh and learn farm, PBK chair etc...

    We got Abby the Little tykes Cozy Coup Car she loves it!!  She climbs in and closes the door and than expects us to push her around the yard for hours.

    The only gender specific toys DD got from family (and she LOVES btw) are both by Fisher Price - one is a tea set and the other is a picnic basket.  The tea set comes with a talking/singing tea pot, two cups a plate with shape indents on it and three shaped tea cakes.  The picnic basket came with a table cloth (think handkerchief size) a talking/singing picnic basket that is a shape sorter box and four different shaped picnic foods.  Other than that we didn't go gender specific unless it was clothes.  We got her a swing and a pool.

    One thing we are getting her is a Fisher Price Grow with me kitchen...she loves the one at a friends house.  A friend of mine is getting her a bunch of play food.

    We actually just got her the Pottery Barn Anywhere chair.  With all the stuff we have from DS and stuff we have purchased recently, we didn't want to get her too many gifts.  Although a few weeks back I bought her a little people pink van that came with a mommy and baby figurine and she likes those.  She had been playing with some of the little people DS had so I figured I'd get her one of her own.  I may add to that collection.
