So now that I'm determined to see the CDs through, despite my challenges with DD's skin (yeast, etc.), I need to buy a few more diapers.
Has anyone used Tots Bots Easy Fits for a couple of years? I know they're coming out with a new version, but I like the old/current version with the bamboo and the aplix is super strong, so I may try to take advantage of the 15% off current special.
Specically, I'm wondering how well the aplix holds up and if the fit is good up to potty training.
Thanks!
Re: Tots Bots - long lasting?
I havent owned mine long, but I can say DD is almost 2 and she is about average height and the probably wouldnt fit too much longer...maybe til 2.5. My son PT'd at 3 years and was tall and we used BG 4.0s andFB meds for him as they were hihger in the rise.
But we are having #3 soon and will use them for the baby.
The aplix is great, I think it would hold up for a while.
Ive had this issue with so many of my diapers (BG, FB etc), its usually (for me) because of the drier. Now I hang dry them and toss them in the drier on low for 5 mins.
We've owned a couple of them for almost 2 years now and I can hardly tell the difference between the 2 y.o. ones and the ones I bought more recently. The aplix literally has not aged at ALL. I think because they stick so well to the laundry tabs, they never get damaged.
As far as fit, they're pretty tight on my 35 lb. toddler. I don't usually use them on him anymore, because we have other diapers that fit better. But they would work in a pinch. I would say they fit him well until he hit a growth spurt around his 2nd birthday. They fit awesomely on my chunky 7 month old, though. For me it was worth having a nice, trim fit in the baby stages, then buying a few more to fit when he got huge.
