Induction set!

I had quite the shock at the dr today. I went in for a normal appointment. Well, first I find out I've gained 6 lbs in 1 week Indifferent  and  my blood pressure was pretty high. Also, my feet and hands have started swelling, which has never happened before. My dr. started looking at me, saying that my belly looked huge and she wanted to do an ultrasound.

The ultrasound tech said the baby weighs about 8.9. I know that can be about half a pound off so I'm hoping he's not that big! Then she said I have excessive amniotic fluid and I'm measuring at 40 weeks already.

After all that, the dr decided she wanted to induce me on Monday. I'll be 39 weeks so I'm okay with it. I really wanted to go naturally, but I'm not going to get too upset about it. Plus, now I know this is our last weekend with no baby so my husband and I will try to enjoy every minute of it. I can't believe I'll be holding my baby in a few days!!!

    Way to look on the bright side of things... GOOD LUCK!

    I have been measuring small for the past two weeks... which to me mean inevitably I will be past my expiration date.

    I am being induced on Mon as well, that is unless LO decides to make his debut over the weekend! GL!
