Puddle Jumpers for kids < 30 pounds?

I just took a look at Puddle Jumpers after reading the recommendations a couple of posts down. Has anyone used it for kids a little under 30 pounds? I'm not sure how much DD weighs...probably in the mid-twenties. We've tried the life jackets the zip up in front with the floatation piece behind her head and she hated it.

My kids both wore them last summer around 25-26 lbs. We had to pull the strap the full way but they worked. I think it prob depends on how they're built & their height too but they worked fine for us last summer. Even better now at 30 lbs & taller but the strap is still pulled almost all the way.

DS1 has used it since he was about 22-23 lbs no problem

DD just used one on our vacation. It was a little big, but she LOVED it. She is 24 pounds.

DD used one last summer and didn't weigh 30 lbs. It worked great.

I'm glad you asked this. I've been wondering the same thing for my DD, who weighs in the upper 20s.

Yes, when I put my twins in them the first time, the one was about 24lbs. and the other was 26lbs. My smaller twin is still only 29 lbs and they will be 4 in July, I just have to pull it really tight to make sure it doesn't slip off her because she also has really skinny arms and arm bands tend to slip down when she gets out of the pool.
