Need to replace my Boulevard because the twins are too tall. Also have 2 radians in. I would like a narrower combination booster. Any recommendations? I am considering the Nautilus and the Britax frontier, but both are pretty wide too. My HOPE is that the twins will stay in the radians another 2 years and then put #1 in a plain highback booster and wing it from there, but I have 3 seats across and it's cozy. What do you love?

Re: Combination booster...
We have the safety first hybrid booster in our van and we can fit two across with a combi coccoro in the middle. The footprint is the same as any regular booster, but it is a 5 pt harness that turns into a high back booster, and then a regular booster. My 4ft tall 6 1/2 year old is still in the 5 pt harness (I know I have to let him grow up sometime
)
ETA: we have a Frontier, but it is in one of the captains chairs, those things are WIDE! And I think the combi has a similar footprint as the radian, so you should be able to fit the booster with 2 radians.
Just an FYI that the size of the radian shell did not change, so it's still outgrown when the tops of the ears hit the top of the seat (or when their shoulders go above the top harness slots) so it may not last until 5'7" even if it says it will. It depends on whether your kids carry their height in their torso or legs. My daughter outgrew her radian at 4 years, 40 lbs 42" because her shoulders went above the top harness slot.
Thanks, Ladies! Also good points. 42"? Yikes! Hope not!! DD is tall. My hope is it will last her 2 more years (She is 40", 32 lbs)- I just raised her straps on one of our current radians to teh top. UGH. Ah well. The last stage boosters aren't too too expensive. By the time I need to move her again, hopefully DH will forget the $$$. At least I'm content that she's safe, LOL!
