Is anyone actually constipated at this point? I've heard a lot about how important it is to not be constipated when you go to the hospital but I'm wondering how thats even possible. I go to the bathroom like 4 times a day now.... for like the last 3 weeks. I think its all fun "prelabor"

I'm not this pregnancy, but I was with DD. I hadn't gone in a couple of days. And was afraid to go for a couple of more. 3rd degree tear. This time im in that 3+ times a day group. But, I thinks he's pushing on my rectum, tmi I know, and it makes it feel like I always have to go. LOTS of pressure.
I'm not sure if I am or not.. lol. I feel like I have to go all the time.. and I definitely go more than I used to.. I used to go like once a week (seriously) but now I am going 1-2 times a day most days - although sometimes I will skip a day.
Sometimes though the pain in my stomach and back get REALLY bad and I assume that I'm either constipated or Really gassy.
At that point, I down 2 -3 FULL glasses of water until I feel like I'm gonna throw up and then I usually end up in the bathroom within an hour.
So I assume its probably a little bit of constipation.. even though I'm going pretty regularly. What happens if you ARE constipated when you deliver?

If I don't eat my prunes each day, yes, I'm constipated. Not as bad as first tri, but still uncomfortable. And even when I go, it's hard and I do have hemmies.
Whether or not i'm constipated won't make a difference when I deliver. The MWs administer an enema upon arrival to ensure there aren't accidents in the birthing tub that would prevent a water birth, if that's an option.
I've been going a ton and then yesterday I did not go at all... I was like #whatswrongwithme
I made up for it today... Pregnancy is just so lovely isn't it???
