A few weeks ago, I was scheduled for a c-section on Monday (the 21st) because teh baby had flipped to breech. I was due to go to the hospital this morning at 9AM for pre-admissions bloodwork.
This past Tuesday, I had an ultrasound and the baby had flipped to head down. The MW I met with afterwards said my c-section was cancelled and of course, therefore, I would not be going for pre-admissions bloodwork.
See where I am going with this?
I just got a frantic call at work from my doctor's office wanting to know why I never went to my hospital this morning for my blood work. Uhhhhhhh, k. lol. After explaining to them what they should already know, I just got a run around response as to why they were calling. I mean, yes, lady on the phone, I realize it's not your fault. But after you accused me (like really snotty) of not showing up for my bloodwork, probably a little "sorry about that!" would have been nice. Hung up with them and went to the bathroom, stewed things over for a bit...
Decided to call back and make sure the c-section was in the system as cancelled because I just kept picturing a room full of doctors expecting me at the hospital on Monday morning.
Now I'm on hold because GUESS WHAT? The lady who I am speaking to now says that it's still in the system for my c-section! She put me on hold to call the hospital and as it turns out, the hospital knew all about it, knew I wasn't going to be there, etc, but never deleted it out of my office's system (or something similar to this).
How's that for a little excitement on a Friday afternoon? haha

I so thought I was going to open this post to see that the baby had flipped again.
I hate rude and unorganized medical staff. So glad to be only dealing with baby doctors after I finally convince this little guy to come out.
OMG! I will die haha. At this point, it will just be the story of my life... I can just picture it, I'll be overdue by almost 2 weeks, get to the hospital in labor and find out she is breech haha. Ah, well!
I saw the title and said "oh no!" I also thought baby girl was breech again! Lol!
LOL Sorry for the scare :-)
