Coming home outfit

Alright ladies, I know that this is probably one of the littlest things to even worry about but I?ve been looking forward to picking out an outfit for our LO to come home in. Problem is, I can?t seem to make up my mind. Has anybody else thought about what they are going to bring LO home in yet?

This is what we are doing too and are also bringing scratch mittens. We'll be bringing a NB size and a 0-3 months size since we don't know what DS will fit into.

Agreed. Keep it simple!

DS and DD both came home in a onesie and little soft, footed pants, and hat. We have the same planned for this LO, but will also have a basic sleeper as backup.

I picked mine out today. I was going to bring her home in this super 80's looking outfit I got at the shower. Hot pink tutu and a lime green polka dot top, with a matching pink bow.

Then I said, "Really Kristin, really?" Keep it simple and save that for a first outing.

Button down footie PJ, hat and receiving blanket (allthough they all have a cupcake theme, so there is some interjection of cutie-style).

For our 7 minute car ride home, baby is going to be wearing a little hat, and a footed onesie! I gotta hurry up and finish her blanket, too! Ahh!

I am the dork apparently....

I have matching shirts for the baby and DD and H. Babies onsie says Little Brother with his name, DD shirt says Big Sister with her name and for the H his shirt says Dad with both kids names.

I bought a NB size onesie and pants, and a 0-3 month size playsuit in case she is too big for NB clothes. Nothing fancy.

I agree with most of the other posters, if it were just me, I'd just do a onesie/sleeper deal. My mom got really excited about coming home outfits when I was pregnant with #1. She bought a sweet (very fancy) little girl and a sweet little boy outfit when when I was pregnant last time. We'll bring them to the hospital again this time.
