Update: Bad 38 week appointment (posted yesterday)

I posted yesterday about my BP being high at my 38 wk appt (actually 38w5d) and havingd a lot of swelling. My blood work came back all good - they look at platelets and kidney function - so as long as I don't have any other symptoms like headache or blurred vision they will just see me at my appt on Tuesday. I'm not having any swelling today, and I think the day home from work was just what I needed! 

I'm so relieved we aren't having to talk induction. I know this LO isn't ready to come out yet. I think this little scare was good for me though because I had to face the reality that I'm not going to have control over how LO comes into the world and may need to let go of the "plan" if that's what's best for me and baby.

    Good news!! Try to relax over the weekend and as much as possible until the big day....I know...It's easier said than done!

    Glad to hear a little rest did the trick!
