I bought a maternity takini from Target yesterday without trying it on and its awful!! Its like a tent! Has anyone found a maternity tankini suit that maybe has a bottom band or ruching or something to keep it from tenting out?
Also, where have you ladies found cute sun dresses? I'm not a fan of maxi dresses because I'm 5'10" and I think they just make me look taller and they usually aren't as long on me as they are supposed to be..

Uhh..none of those are maternity.
Old navy has some, I was at one of the stores the other day and a couple of them actually looked pretty cute.
I just saw that one last night in the magazine and loved it! I'm going to Old Navy tomorrow, I really hope they carry it!
uhh if you look hard enough maybe you'd find the ones that are.. but then again, they might be too young & fresh for you
Maybe you could provide a link to the particular maternity ones..because I scoured all the tankinis listed and none are maternity..
Do you have this one? I just got it in the mail yesterday (totally thought it was cute online), and it definitely looks tent-ish on me. But maybe that's just my body-type...

Victoria secret has really cute tankinis. They aren't maternity but just order a size up. That's what I did.
No I haven't purchased it yet...I was going to soon... Not too fond of the tent though, so maybe I should keep looking.
This is the cutest maternity suit I've seen. https://www.bodenusa.com/en-US/Womens-Maternity/BP044/Womens-Maternity-Swimsuit.html
I don't have it but I love it. I have a Target black tankini I used when I was pregnant with DD that I'm going to use again when the pools open. It's simple but cute with fuller coverage bottoms. I get a basketball belly (not a watermelon belly) so even though the suit is non-maternity it stretches over the belly pretty easily.
Doh.... from Old Navy
**super preggo brain today**
They are all so big! I got mine from Target, but am still too tiny for it. I know how big I am going to get, considering my DD. So, my DH and I decided that I would need a regular tankini for the beginning of the summer and a maternity tankini for the end of summer. They are really selling out quick, so buy quick!
I did, and not a single one of those claim to be a maternity swimsuit. Which is what OP clearly asked for. Point me to the swimsuit(s) you are referring to? I am shocked to know that VS carries a maternity swimsuit line...
I will aslo be wearing a bikini. I detest tankinis. I would rather wear a one-piece (which I don't think are that bad), but I just DO NOT like tankinis.
"I actually found one at Target, after trying on some tent versions. Mine is just black, ties at the neck, fairly fitted through the torso and standard bikini bottoms. Definitely not thrilling, but fits well"
This is the one I bought too. I felt the same - it wasn't anything special, but it fit really well.

I got mine from motherhood and I love it!
I was desperate for one on a a trip and picked one up at Babies'R'Us. It is a Motherhood Maternity one that is blue with white polka dots. It is a one piece, but did not look funny on me at only 20 weeks and seemed to be able to handle a larger belly for later this summer:

I am due in September as well, and I am looking for a few bathing suits to wear virtually every other day, since we live next to the beach here.
I also just picked up another one at A Pea in the Pod:

My boobs have grown so much, I really could not cope with strapless now, I wanted something that had support for each one.
SwimOutlet.com also has maternity suits (tankini, bikini, and one-piece):

Hi Ladies....I'm new to this site and just found out we are pregnant after years of ttc! Super excited. Anything can happen...it is so early but being positive. We have a planned vacation in last July/early August. I will only be 3 months+ pregnant. Can I just wear "regular" bathing suit (well, a bikini in my case since I vow to never wear a tankini or full piece) that is just bigger or do I need to look for maternity swimwear even at 3 months? I'm hoping I can just wear something from VS and just get a bigger size. Thoughts?
