Getting out of a chair

I find myself struggling to rise out of a chair. It was super embarrassing today because I had an appt with the Bishop's advisory committee (I work for a church.) and the Bishop helped me up after I got stuck on a low couch in the waiting room.

Embarrassed Anyone else gotten stuck yet?

I was sitting on the couch last night and leaned back into a lying position. When I tried to get up, I was stuck! It was a combo of backpain and lack of ab-usage. I was like the kid from A Christmas Story who got pushed in the snow! I had to yell for my DH to come in and help me up.

I feel like the pregnant clich?.

I joke all the time I'm like a turtle on my back. Anytime I sit in something low or something squishy, it's all over. lol

There have definitely been times I needed help off the couch. Also getting out of bed is getting kinda difficult.

Not on chairs yet, but couches and other plushy large seats definitely give me trouble... I can't wait to function properly again!

I got stuck on the kitchen floor the other night when I was putting pots & pans away in the cabinet. LOL

It depends on the chair. I'm only 5' tall so if it's not a "short people" chair I have problems. Definitely hard to get off the couch. I pretty much just roll off lol
