Eventful hospital trip yesterday

We picked dd up from preschool yesterday around 2:40 then went to the hospital to get ds catheter out. Got back to the parking garage and were buckling the kids in and dd said her pinky was bothering her. I looked at it and it was crooked, she couldn't straighten it. She pulled it and it popped back in, she said her bones hurt when she did that, it popped right back out. So out of the car and over to er we went. We were there for 5 hours getting x rays and having doc look st it trying to figure out what's going on. Dd can't remember hurting it or anything and we hadn't noticed anything. They kept asking us if we had any family history of joints easily popping out. They ended up having her pop it back in, taped it to her ring finger and hen splinted it to keep it in place. We now have to follow up with plastic surgery for her next week. At least she had good timing bringing it up before we left. We didn't get home till 10:15pm and hadn't eaten dinner yet. Kids usually go to bed between 8-8:30. What a night.

Oh and dd has a dance recital tomorrow I'm sure shes thrilled to have this big ol splint that takes up half of her arm.

We go Tuesday for an ultrasound on ds to see if his ureter is still swollen and if all looks good he can finally get the pen rose drain out of his side. If its still having problems they will have to consider other options which would be invasive, possibly putting a stent back in or going back to the or.

Oh, that sounds absolutely awful for your DD! Bones make me so queasy! I hope things calm down for you guys soon, you've certainly had your share of health issues!
