Phew! NBR

I have done so well with this pregnancy with maintaining a low level of stress, until yesterday.  At the end of May we always have to renew our insurances at work and every year they have changed insurance companies, so I was expecting a possible change in insurance.  Well (thankfully) my health insurance stayed the same, but looking through my packet I didn't see anything about a health reimbursement account that our company has done forever.  Basically what it is, I have a $10,000 through BCBS and I pay a $300 deductible and the company pays the rest.  So, I go from thinking I have to pay $300 for labor and delivery to thinking I have to pay up to $10,000 for it.  Let me tell you, my stomach dropped to my butt when I thought that, 5-6 weeks before I'm due. 

Luckily, I talked to our insurance person and it is still included in our plan.  Holy smokes, talk about a HUGE relief!  My boss thought the company was going to put me into early labor with all of this confusion..lol

    Oh wow that would have stressed me out too. I'm glad it all worked out for you. Dealing with insurance companies is such a pain!

    They are a HUGE pain!  Thankfully everything worked out so I didn't go from a $300 bill to $10,000.  I may have died..lol
