Congestion and Stuffy Ears..... anyone else?

I'm trying to rule out a cold and blame these symptoms on the pregnancy, but I can't seem to find anything online about it.

Are any of you experiencing stuffy nose and your ears feeling full/clogged? I have had a stuffy nose since the beginning of the pregnancy but in the last few days it has gotten worse, and now my ears are feeling clogged.

  • I was feeling the same way. I had horirble allergies before being pregnancy and it got 100 times worse being pregnant. I started a gluten free diet and I haven't felt this good in a long time. I read an article that wheat allergies can make things swell, including nasal passages. I never would have thought of it.

  • Sounds like allergies to me too. I don't know about gluten allergies, but it is a common pregnancy symptom that allergies occur.

  • I've had clogged ears but clear nose for a few weeks now. The clogged ears are extra annoying because it magnifies my heartbeat so now I have whooshing background music playing throughout the day
  • I've had the congestion for almost all of my pregnancy. My doctor told me this is a common pregnancy issue. I hate it and can't wait for my nose to go back to normal! No ear issues for me though.
