Sweet potato fries?

Has anyone given their lo's the frozen sweet potato fries? I've thought about getting them and then I saw these organic sweet potato ball things at the store and wondered if it's ok to do those?

  • I totally have and she loves them!

The ones I buy are pretty natural, not a lot of added anything etc.

It's not like she's getting them everyday or anything. All about the moderation here!

Same here. If you're buying frozen I would just look out for sodium content.

Same here. We all love them. I like to slice them into discs instead of fry shape. Put them  in a ziploc bag with olive oil, coriander, oregano, and a tiny bit of salt and pepper.Shake up, bake at 425F for 12-15 minutes, flip, another 10 minutes.

I've given sweet potato fries at a restaurant with the seasoning wiped off. He loves them!

  • I give her the Alexia natural ones every so often. I was super excited to try them because I thought she'd like them, but she doesn't like them. I also tried the sweet potato tots (which are AMAZING), but she wants nothing to do with them either.  Not a sweet potato fan, unfortunately.

I've given her ones that I"ve had on my plate at a restaurant... I don't buy them for at home though.

Dumb question - do you peel it first or just leave the skin on?
