Last week I saw my doctor and he said I was 1 cm dilated and my cervix was very soft. Yesterday, he tells me the same but that he won't be able to induce me on monday because my cervix is still a little too long and he wouldn't want me to labor for hours and it end up in a C-section. That is completely understandable to me, but I always thought if your cervix was soft, it was short?
The reason we are talking induction is because I have a history of birthing large babies and according to the doctor, my frame is really built for that, and both had meconium aspiration, so that's something I really want to avoid too because my son's doctor seems to think it might be related to the fact that he has so many upper respiratory problems now. ![]()
