Are you using the same bottles you started with?

My little one is in daycare adn mornings are hectic, so I end up washing a days worth of bottles at night...we use Dr. Brown's which are such a pain b/c of all the parts...has anyone switched  bottles?  I was thinking of switchign to something w/less parts...am i just being lazy?

I should add my little guys has a slight digestion problem and has to eat frequently so he probably has more bottles a day (small quantity) than most.....

I've used the Platex nurser drop ins from day one so I haven't gone through a transition other than to the sippy cup.  I don't blame you for wanting to switch!  Good luck with the transition!

We started with Playtex Ventaire and still use them a bit, but DD loves her bottles and started holding her own, so I bought a few of the cheap Gerber bottles.  I don't see the transition to only sippy cups happening soon (she drinks from them just fine at meals), so I will be sticking with the Gerber bottles for a while.

We tried several different bottles when he was born and Playtex Ventaire worked best. We are still using them.

We switched from glass bottles to Pura stainless steel bottles (that can become sippy cups) when DD started daycare.

Kacelle, it's so refreshing to see someone so young be as crunchy as you are! I wish I had become more EF when I was your age! I didn't get started in my green ways until my 30's! :s better late than ever, right!?!

Haha!  We're trying to take steps to be more EF as a family, but we still have a long way to go.  So I guess it's good I started early!

We used Dr. Brown's consistently--however she has been on her sippy cups for the last few weeks :) I just packed away all her bottles last night!

We still use the Dr. Brown's so I feel your pain. We're working on transitioning to the sippy, but it's not going over very well. I'm just too cheap to buy new bottles so late in the game. Have you thought of just throwing them in the dishwasher? We bought the dishwasher baskets early on, so it's not a big deal for us since we just throw all the bottles in the dishwasher at night and they're good to go for the morning.

We've used Born Free (lots of parts) exclusively with both DS and now DD.  They work great for us and I don't really mind all the washing at night.
