Baby needs to come out! (update)

Thank you ladies for all the encouragement, it was desperately needed today!

My 42 week appointment went very well.  At first I was concerned because there was a new midwife I'd never met before but she turned out to be amazing! She did a 'rough' internal exam to help get things going, which we discussed before hand and apparently my cervix is still very posterior, so much so that she wasn't sure if I was dilated because she couldn't reach  :(  So while she was in there she also tried to manually pull my cervix down and put in a primrose capsule, not sure how all that works but it was unpleasant.  On the bright side she did say I am effacing and that LOs head is low and right there :).  Zoey passed her NST in just a matter of minutes and got a 10/10 on her BPP.  Apparently LO is very active and social....who knew with her hiding out!  So we will be trying some nipple stimulation with my new pump and some castor oil and we will also doing more evening primrose.  Something has to work!  Apparently they're also willing to try doing a Foley Catheter induction (which I've heard hurts like hell, so I'm hoping to avoid that).  I might still manage to get the birth I was hoping for, fingers crossed!

    Good luck!  Just wanted to say that I had a Foley Catheter with my first child and it wasn't bad at all.  And I'm someone who doesn't tolerate pain very well (internal exams kill me!).  So try not to worry too much.   :)
