Today is my original due date and my eviction date. But, I'm still pregnant, and my little Alien is still moving around like a prize kick boxer. No hiccups for a couple of days...but I don't see him arriving anytime soon. Really depressing. So much for delivering early in 2+ pregnancies.
Re: 39w and My Original Due Date
I think I'd be fine if my OB hadnt said she wanted to induce at 39w... Then decided we were doing great and pushed it back. I had it in my head he'd be here by end day.
I carried DD to 40w0d. I can do it this time, too.
Try to look at the plus side - your doctor thinks you are doing well enough to not induce you a week early! That is a good thing. That's how I am trying to stay positive. My doctor said if I continue in good health, they won't even entertain the thought of induction until at least 41 weeks (she actually said, "We won't talk about induction until 41 weeks..." talk about it! Not do it, lol, talk about it...). I know they won't go past 42 and I'm hoping it doesn't come to that (because, yikes?), but I have to stay positive that my blood pressure has been great, no swelling (knock on wood), able to still work (and I work on my feet throughout the day). I mean, yeah, I'm really tired at the end of the day, but still grateful I can come in (I have to force myself to be grateful hahaha). You are so close now!!
Question - does lessening of hiccups mean something (I saw you mentioned your LO hasn't had a lot of hiccups in the past few days and mine went from having them 2-3x a day to maybe once every few days, just wondering if that meant something)?
Hopefully Alien will just kick out of there!
I'm also wondering about the hiccups! Turtle gets them maybe once a day now but I don't recall them at all yesterday... is this another "sign" labor is coming?!

Hmm.....I just realized my LO doesn't get hiccups as often either! She had them for a couple minutes yesterday & I can't remember when she had them before that.
Lol! I don't think anyone wants their LO kicking their way out - unless it's along w/ the contractions.
