Overly vented (sorry) about but now its my turn

I have an aunt that I've met twice in my life.  Needless to say, she's never been a big part of it.  Well, I made the mistake of accepting her friend request on facebook and she will not stop posting asking if I've had my baby yet.  (I do not frequent fb at all.)  She started these posts when I was only 34 weeks and they just keep coming.  This AM I got a call from my dad (aunt=his sister) asking me if I had had the baby because my aunt posted something on his wall about an update since I haven't responded to her.  This is ridiculous especially because I barely know this lady.  She also keeps mentioning how twins run in the family...I haven't had my baby, you will know when I do and I think I would know by now if I was having twins.  Frustrating...

  • I can sort of relate.  My dad's family has never been part of our lives and I accepted one of my aunts and she is my biggest commenter on pics and stuff.  Some nights when I'm just vegging in front of facebook she will try to IM until I answer, it is very annoying.  I would try to ignore it she is just excited I guess.
  • Loading the player...
  • This sounds horrible... I am sorry.

Just start deleting it or post below and say that My immediate family and close friends will know first and a facebook post will be soon to follow.

Perhaps, she will get the hint from that? lol...

You can click "offline" for the IM thing... I have mine set to that all the time because I really do not want to chat with anyone online.

  • I would just delete her, but that is me. Family or not if the person in annoying me I just remove them.

I wish I could. Well, I know I can but, I wouldn't hear the end of it from my dad.  Our relationship is already quite strained...I don't need another thing to fight about especially at this time in my life!

  • Gotta love facebook. My husbands mother abandoned him and his brother when they were 3 and 4. She showed up at the hospital when I had DS1 and that was 4 years ago. Now she keeps trying to add me as her daughter in law on facebook. And whenever I upload a picture of my son her and her two sisters instantly like it. Like there just sitting there starring at the screen all day long.
