I haven't been doing much to encourage baby girl to come out, because I still love being pregnant, but I would like her to come in the next week to avoid extra testing, and definitely the next 2 to avoid a hospital birth, so I might start encouraging her more. I have been
Walking regularly
Bouncing on a birth ball
...that's about it. I'm not ready for the more extreme things (e.g. castor oil), but I figure those aren't bad anyway (here's to exercise!) so why not?
What methods have you been trying to encourage your LO to join you outside?
Re: What home "induction" ideas are you trying?
walking
sex every other night
evening prime rose oil
spicy foods
yoga ball
acupuncture massage points
and just bought pineapple thats next on the list
I know im not 39 weeks yet but the doctor says he would be happy if the baby came any day now, and with us moving I would like him out so I have a few days to recover.
BFP 9/22/10, mc confirmed 10/31/10

BFP #3 9/7/11 Stick, baby, stick!
I'm 39 w 6 days so I feel your pain.
Sex, walking until my legs fall off, raspberry leaf tea, dancing like a crazy person in my living room, rubbing my belly nonstop. No luck yet so let me know if you come across a miracle induction method!
Sex, bouncing on my birthing ball, EPO and I always want to go for walks but being up on my feet all day with my two little ones usually has me dead by the time I even think about going for a walk ;-)
I've tried all these things in my past pregnancies and while they've never sent me into actual labor I really think that they've helped make my deliveries go a bit smoother (especially with my 2nd) and aren't a huge inconvenience to my day so I figure why not try, you know?
