NBR, not my day vent

Ahhh this day did not start out well, I should have taken the hint to hide in a corner when my car wouldn't start.

First of all, to all scientists who don't believe in preganancy brain, screw you! I have had the same car for six years and always drive with my lights on and always turn them off when done, well in the last month and half I have left them on 9 times and have to jump start my car 7 times, including this morning. I just sat on my front porch in tears until my brother in law could save me, seriously, I felt so stupid for doing it again. 

Then I finally get lunch at subway I ask for a veggie on wheat with provolone, onions, olives, banana peppers, cucumbers and oil and vinegar. What I get is a sandwich with olives and lettuce. I also didn't realize it until an hour later when I was done running errands. 

 Then I get home to look in our back yard and realize it is deader than an arizona desert in the summer. AKA our sprinklers are not working :/. 

 

AHHH urgh!  I am just so overwhelmed I am 35 weeks today and don't have half the things I need for this baby, or know how we will afford this. I was hoping people would get some of the stuff we registered for to help us....Only one person has got something off our registry and my shower is this Saturday (word to the wise, don't have a shower so late!). It is reminding me of my wedding shower, regifting is HUGE here or making your own things well so far 5 people are making us blankets, we don't need blankets, I will be nice but I kind of want to scream if I get another blanket lol. I just wish people would at least look at the registry I mean I did spend a lot of time trying to put it together. I mean I don't expect people to buy us expensive fancy things, we should be able to do it on our own but between the hell of trying to sell our home and our new house we haven't had time/money to get anything yet :(. 

 

Ok Ok I will shut up now this rant could go on forever I am just way overly hormonal today. And trust me I am grateful for the people who are getting us stuff for our baby, even if it is not what we asked for, I am just frustrated i put all that work into the registry for it to be ignored when it is things we really need.

    Just to let you know, many people shop the day before or even the day of the baby shower, so, don't usually worry, and trust me, stop stalking your registry as it will make you a nervous wreck. Also, to let you know, you may think that you have to many blankets, but you can always use a couple more. Enjoy your shower, and try and have a better day.

    Sorry you're having a bad day but just so you know a registry is only a suggestion for people and they can and will buy whatever they want. Stop stalking your registry and be grateful for whatever is given to you. Whatever you don't get buy yourself with the completion coupon. Some people don't even get showers so consider yourself loved that people want to celebrate your pregnancy with you.

    I am in the same boat with you with blankets and the registry.  I try not to look at my registry, but I do sneak peeks at mine.  Just trying to get an idea of what things I will still need to buy.  What irks me is when I get asked what I still need and I have to direct them to the registry and say I need anything except the toys.
