..due to dr's orders? Why did your dr write you out of work early?

I have so much pressure that my hemmorhoids are throbbing from sitting and my poor vagina feels like someone kicked me in it. It'd be nice if my dr would have some sympathy and write me out of work early..

I'm out of work on doctor's orders since last week (36 weeks). He put me out for pelvic pain and extreme swelling of extremities. I wish I could have worked longer, but I feel much better since I've been home so I guess he made the right decision.

With baby 1 I requested it b/c I was in sales and on my feet all day and by 37 weeks I couldn't take it any more. A lot of docs will go by what you need.

My Dr. put me on modified bedrest for weeks 32 and 33 due to very strong BH showing up on the monitor every 3-4 minutes. Weeks 34 to now I've been on a modified schedule (half days 3X per week) for the same reason, but now I'm having a mixture of real contractions and BH with cervical change.

My dr. offered to take me out at 33 weeks because I was so exhausted by the end of the school day teaching. I opted to stay because we do not have much longer and I want to save my days. I go back tomorrow to get checked out and hopefully everything will look good and I can stay the last week.

Your dr. should do what you need them to do.

Yes. I'm out right now because I was in the hospital last Tuesday night with contractions and was beginning to dilate. If I make it to 37 weeks, then I can probably go back to work. I don't miss work, but I wish I wasn't using up my leave time. Now I'll have less time with LO after he's born.

My Dr. Asked me if I was still working today. I have symphysis pubic dysfunction and work is getting unbearable. I might ask at my next appt if they would consider writing me out early. The tone I got today suggested they'd support me leaving early.
