BH's... (yes, another question about em)

I did not get BH's starting till this past weekend... Therefore they are new to me. They are pretty much constant now. Last night, my stomach was tightening up so much it was painful, plus it did not let up for  a few minutes. I still felt fetal movement but I was still a bit worried about LO. So, is it normal for BH's to last that long? Could they have actually been real contractions?

I am a FTM so any info would be greatly appreciated! TIA

    I've noticed that my BH contractions have been lasting a long time. I often wake up in the middle of the night feeling my stomach super tight, I get up and go pee, and return to bed and usually it is still just as tight as before. I'm not sure why they last so long sometimes? It won't hurt LO though, don't worry. My LO is super active at night, and I will feel him moving like crazy after I have one.

    Yep! They really ramp up at the end. Wait until you feel baby moving during the contractions. That hurts!

    I'm glad you posted this! I've been having a lot and some are really long. I thought it was weird- but it sounds like its normal!
