Making it to your due date is bittersweet. We live by that date from the moment we see those pink lines. It's tough to live with so much anticipation, then have it extended further. My DD did not come by her due date either. Even though I knew deep down this little nugget was not going to come early either, I still woke up disappointed.

And, it has nothing to do with the fact the an EDD is just that, estimated. Being 40 weeks pregnant is not a walk in the park.

Today is my due date as well. Yesterday my husband looked at me (very disappointedly I think) and said that he didn't know why he ever thought the baby would come early since I was never early for a thing in my life. Yeah! I'm holding her in just to mess with you!
