AC Off Update... Ahhhh

Well, my father threw a fit when I said I was turning back on and laid a guilt trip on me. So, I asked DD if she wanted to go with me to a hotel. And she said no, and we both agreed she'd sleep a lot better without me tossing and turning all night. Went to the nearest hotel, and I'm now surrounded by nine pillows with the AC set to 65. I'm watching TV to relax a bit, then I'm hoping for my first good night's sleep in several weeks.

Watch me wake up in active labor and have to go home. At least it's only 5 miles away.

    I hope you had a good nights sleep.  Good for you about the AC, no way could I sleep without it on

    As a person who is almost always warm, I understand the joys of a/c and think you made a smart move spending the evening in a hotel. Calm, quiet and cool. Ahhhh is right.

    I always say that I'd rather be cold then hot. If you're cold, you can always put more clothes on but when you're hot, you can only take off so much...before you get arrested in public.

    Hope you feel better and get this baby on the outside soon.

    Oh, it was great. I still woke every 2 hours to pee, but I do have a bowling ball parked on my bladder. But, I was able to zonk back out every time I went back to bed. I buried myself under the covers and woke up at 6:30 feeling super refreshed! The house was 78 when I got back home. Where that huge temperature drop you expected, father dear? The AC comes back on today, since it's going to be 87.  

    Im a little depressed I didn't wake in labor...but glad I got a good night's sleep!
